Our Mission

Diversity - Inclusion - Competition

The Mexican Lacrosse Association (AML) is a registered Non-Profit Organization focused on the growth and development of lacrosse in Mexico. For more than a decade, AML'S objective has been to inspire the participation and enrichment of Mexican players both at home and abroad while competing at the highest levels of the sport.

Mexico is the 35th fully sanctioned member of World Lacrosse and a founding member of the Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA). We have participated in more than a dozen internationally recognized tournaments and are currently setting conditions to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California.

OUr main objectives:

Grow - Compete - Win

Major Cities with a growing Lacrosse Community

Mexico City

Mexico City maintains the strongest lacrosse community in the country. More than a dozen collegiate and post-collegiate teams across various ages and genders routinely compete for championships. These teams have fostered a tight-knit community currently raising the next generation of Mexican Lacrosse Players. Youth programs are beginning to emerge as a result of the sport's surging popularity among athletes in parallel sports such as soccer.

Monterrey is setting conditions to become Mexico's next lacrosse hotbed. Against the backdrop of the beautiful Cerro de la Silla mountain range, the city successfully hosted its first post-collegiate tournament in 2022. More than 40 players across men's and women's teams competed in the new Olympic Sixes Lacrosse format.
